I hope whatever you did, it was a lovely night.
We handed the kids over to the grandparents for the night so I enjoyed myself a little too much. I think it was about 5pm on New Years Day before I made it off the couch!

To get started this year, I wanted to offer you all some nice, little freebies I’ve been working on.
I’ve been re-vamping our slightly tired, long Birth Preferences documents and thought I would spice it up with some colour and make them more simple and readable.
We only had a few basic one for c-section births so I’ve made a beautiful one so everyone is covered.
I listened to a great podcast the other day about sticking your one page birth plan up on the wall in the hospital.
This was a midwife saying that she recommends everyone do it so it got me motivated to pretty ours up so anyone would be proud to stick it on the wall in hospital.
Remember with Birth Preferences, behind every point, there should be thought out, researched and considered reasons why you are putting that choice on your plan.

I’m feeling creative and generous this year, so my next project is to create a set of Birth Affirmation Printables.
For those who don’t know what Printables are, its just a fancy word for something you print.
I’m gathering my top 12 birth affirmations and making them gorgeous, ready for putting up in your birthing space at home or taking to hospital.
